PLANO(CBSDFW.COM) - When it comes to the next big thing in golf, people are seeing double in Collin County.
That's because the Coody twins are setting themselves apart from the competition on the golf course. Pierceson and Parker Coody are twin 15-year-old brothers on the Plano West Golf Team.
"This year, they've had some success with their high school team, which has been great to watch," said their father Kyle Coody.
The Coody's helped lead Plano West to a 3rd place finish at the UIL State Tournament in March.
Success on the golf course is in their blood.
Grandfather Charles Coody earned three victories on the PGA Tour, including the '71 Masters.
As for their dad, Kyle? "Never made it on PGA Tour. Traveled played Asian Tour, Canadian Tour. Traveled the world. Great experience, wouldn't trade it for the world," Kyle Coody said.
But there is no pressure to join the family business. "It doesn't influence our decision to play or not play. We play because we enjoy it" according to Pierceson Coody.
