Collin County D-A Orders Review of Dozens of Indictments
The Collin County district attorney has ordered the review over 100 indictments handed down by a grand jury created by Judge Suzanne Wooten.DA John Roach says her grand jury consisted of people with conflict of interests in the cases they were ruling on.
At the time the grand jury was formed, Wooten was under investigation by the state's Attorney Generals Office as well for violating campaign election laws. She was elected in 2008. Roach says another Collin County grand jury will hear the indictments in question.
