Colleyville Murder Victim Identified, Sketch Of Man In Area Released

SOUTHLAKE (CBSDFW.COM) - One day after a woman was found dead in a Colleyville home police released more information about the woman killed and the person of interest they want to talk to.
The victim has been identified as Anita Dyson Fox, of Alvarado. The 72-year-old was the longtime housekeeper for the family who owns the house where she was murdered.
A witness helped police with the sketch after seeing the man leaving the 500 block of Frontier Court just before Fox's murder was discovered.
The man is described a white male, approximately 40-years-old, standing about 5'8", with a heavyset build. The man has very short blond or gray hair and when lat seen as wearing a blue or gray t-shirt and blue jean shorts.
While police want to talk to the man featured in the sketch, they were clear that he is not a suspect.
Neighbors in the secluded, upscale community told CBS 11 News that Fox arrived like clockwork, every other Tuesday, and had done so for years. According to residents, Fox typically arrived around 11:00 in the morning – by 11:30 Tuesday she was dead.
Another employee who had come to the house to care for the family's plants discovered her body. The homeowners were out of town at the time of the incident.
According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Report, Fox was found in the entryway of the home. Officials confirmed shortly into the investigation that Fox's body had "obvious" signs of trauma.
Police are still being careful about what they say and have not released the cause of death. Investigators wouldn't say if Fox could have known her attacker and would only say they aren't ruling anything out.
Colleyville police Chief Mike Holder said, "Obviously when you have something of this magnitude [occur] there is cause for concern. We don't have anything in this investigation, that's turned up at this point, that we think that there is an ongoing threat."
Knowing the murder could be a crime of opportunity, some people in the area are worried. Neighbor Tracy Papadakis said, "I think really just to find out if there's a crazed maniac running around that we need to be concerned about." Chris Rowntree also lives in the area. "It's extremely concerning that nobody has caught anybody at this time, that there are no leads to go on," he said.
During a press conference Wednesday Chief Holder tried to calm some of those concerns, telling reporters, "We're doing everything we possibly can do to solve this crime."
The reassurances help and while homeowners believe Colleyville is still a pretty safe city, most are taking extra steps to stay safe. "I don't think we live in a world anymore where you can't lock your doors," Papadakis said. "I think we're in a community where we know each other and feel safe. But yeah, last night I definitely was double-checking the alarm system and all the doors."
The person of interest police are seeking was driving a mid-2000's, 2-door pickup. The truck was cream or champagne in color and had metal pipe racks on the back.

Both the FBI and Texas Rangers are assisting Colleyville police in this investigation.
