Cleburne Man Arrested In Kidnapping Of Local Woman

CLEBURNE (CBSDFW.COM) - Gayland Lee McGee, 55, of Cleburne, was arrested late Wednesday afternoon December 16 in Fort Worth and charged with kidnapping in the workplace abduction of a 52-year-old woman who lives in the Mountain View Estates subdivision, according to the criminal complaint document.
Hood County Sheriff's Lieutenant Johnny Rose says the victim "had allegedly been beaten during the time she was held by McGee against her will."
The complaint says the victim told investigators she was forced by McGee to leave with him on December 4 under threats of death to her and her daughter.
