Clean-Up Begins Where Four Lower Greenville Eateries Burned Four Months Ago
Clean-up has begun on the Lower Greenville site where a massive fire destroyed four popular restaurants four months ago today. Early on the morning of March 2nd, flames raced through a building on Greenville near Goodwin Avenue. The fire gutted the four restaurants in the early 20th-century building, including Terilli's Restaurant and Bar, the Hurricane Bar-and-Grill, Mick's Bar and the Greenville Bar-and-Grill. Crews have now started hauling away the rubble and that should take a week, paving the way for re-contruction to begin. The Terilli family, for one, says they could re-open as soon as January.
