DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - With all the playoff and final success by the Mavs this year... how did the city of Dallas do economically?

In all the Mavs played 11 playoff games at home, with three of those coming in the Finals.

Phillip Jones with the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureaus said the city did quite well during the playoffs, earning an estimated $15 to $16 million. He says hotels and restaurants reported a spike in business during the championship run, and that hotels have been seeing a larger amount of German visitors, thanks to NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki.
