Church Damaged By Fire
DALLAS (CBDFW.COM) - An early morning fire damaged a church in Pleasant Grove.
Firefighters were called to the Covenant Family Baptist Church in the 800 block of Hillburn Drive at around 5:30 a.m.
When firefighters arrived at the scene flames were shooting through the church's roof.
No one was hurt in the fire.
Investigators are not sure what started the fire.
Pastor Steven Sims says despite the church being damaged he will offer services Sunday, in a tent on the church's property.
