Child Abuse & Neglect

Every day, Child Protective Services is called to investigate a report of child abuse or neglect. Or a child makes an outcry to a parent that they have been a victim of sexual abuse.

These events can be devastating to a child and the family, whether CPS takes custody of the child or not.

One thing that is certain, children need to begin healing and they need someone in their corner. Two child advocacy groups are dedicated to stopping abuse, helping children find hope, standing up for them in court and speaking out on their behalf.

ReMoved was made with the intent of bringing awareness to, encouraging and being useful in foster parent training, and raising up foster parents. It shows what a child goes through in the course of a court case involving CPS and the parents. In the meantime, the child is alone going from foster home to foster home.
