Cedar Hill Family remembers Integration
There had not been any black students in the school district until that day. Sister Dana Lacy Poteet says it was a milestone for her and her three siblings. They were a curiosity to the other students
She says they never faced any hatred but some some subtle insults,
Both got involved in basketball and excelled. They say their experience made them who they are.
