CBS, Red Cross Teaming Up For Disaster Relief
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - As cleanup begins from the multiple tornadoes that touched down across North Texas, the Red Cross has already moved in to assist in any way they can. From providing food, shelter, clothing and supplies to those impacted, to even assisting in the cleanup efforts, volunteer from the Red Cross are already active in helping their neighbors.
CBS 11, CBS Radio and CBSDFW are partnering with the Red Cross to host a tornado relief drive Wednesday during CBS 11 News at 4, 5 & 6 p.m. Red Cross volunteers will join us on air to talk about their efforts, and people will be able to call in to (877) TEXAS-11 to donate to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help our neighbors in need.
