CBS 11 News Anchors Lose World Series Bet
FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) - So, the Texas Rangers lost the World Series to the San Francisco Giants -- but the Rangers weren't the only ones on the losing end this week.
Before the Fall Classic kicked off, the CBS 11 News This Morning anchors (Scott Sams, Lisa Pineiro and Teresa Frosini) made a friendly wager with the anchors from fellow CBS station KPIX-TV in San Francisco. As a result, our morning show guys had to wear dark beards, a la Giants closing pitcher Brian Wilson, and sing "I Left My Heart in San Francisco."
The results weren't pretty. Take a look.
And things were even more crazy behind the scenes. Check out the raw footage, which shows the morning team as they put on the fake beards and painfully ripped them off their faces. Ouch!
