FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – My Car Store of Fort Worth today handed the keys to a Toyota Corolla filled with much needed supplies, such as diapers and formula to The Battered Women's Foundation of North Richland Hills.

My Car Store owner Jason Ripple created "My Car Store Driving Force," which is a program for women seeking help from the foundation with transportation to and from work.

"We wanted to give.... a little quicker," said Ripple.

Battered Women's Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit agency operating in North Texas that works with many local agencies to stop domestic violence.

It offers counseling, emergency food and clothing, and a two-year program designed to heal all areas of a client's life, including referrals for education, resources for government assistance, child-care, transportation, job search, skills, food and clothing, medical care and, most importantly, rebuilding their self-esteem and giving them hope.
