Car Business Owner Found Dead In Kaufman County

TERRELL (CBSDFW.COM) - Authorities in Kaufman County are investigating after a man was found dead Monday night at a car business northwest of Terrell. Deputies responded at around 10:30 p.m. to Reta Auto Sales, located in the 13000 block of County Road 236.
A woman arrived at the business late Monday looking for her husband. She soon found his body inside of a small building on the gated property. Authorities have been treating this as a case of homicide.
An investigator at the scene on Tuesday afternoon said that the body is believed to be that of the business owner, but his name has not officially been released.
The victim was reportedly shot, but officials are still trying to determine why he ended up dead and who is responsible for his murder.
