Bus Driver Accused Of Making Advance On Teenager

IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - A man trusted to drive children to school is accused of making an inappropriate advance on one of them.
It happened last week on a bus ride to MacArthur High School.
Aleysia Wilson said when she was getting off the bus last week her driver asked her to stay behind.
The 15-year-old freshman said the driver grabbed her hand, gave her a ring and his phone number, calling her his new special friend.
Dallas County Schools, which provides the bus service, fired the driver on Monday.
Aleysia's mother said she's worried that the fired driver will retaliate against her family.
"He's been picking her up for four or five months," said Leslie Clark, Aleysia's mother. "It's not just about him being fired. He knows what area this is and everything. I guess as a mom I just think like that."
Aleysia and her mom want the driver criminally prosecuted, but criminal attorneys we spoke to said the driver's actions, while disturbing, did not rise to that level.
