Burglar Targeting Cars On Dallas ISD Property

DALLAS(CBSDFW.COM)- Dallas ISD is reporting several burglaries of vehicles over the past few months.
The suspect appears to be stealing the third row seats from vehicles.
According to the district the suspects pry open rear windows of SUV's and then pull the seats out of the window or open the hatch back of the vehicle and remove the seat.
Other items have been taken during these burglaries, but it appears that the main target it the third row seats.
During a recent burglary the video surveillance system was able to capture an image of a suspect vehicle.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a 1995-1998 White 1500 Series Chevrolet Pickup with an extended cab.
The vehicle also has mag style rims, tinted windows, clearance lights on the roof and tailgate appears to have peeling paint.
The truck did not have a front license plate on the bumper.
The district is asking if anyone has any information to contact police.
