Irving (Sports Network) - Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant underwent successful surgery on Monday to repair his fractured right fibula.

The Cowboys will put Bryant on injured reserve, ending his season.

Bryant suffered the injury while returning a kickoff in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 38-35 overtime victory at Indianapolis.

The 24th overall pick in the 2010 draft, Bryant caught 45 passes for 561 yards and six touchdowns this season. He also returned two punts for scores.
