Boys High School Basketball Regional Quarterfinals Set

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The third round of the UIL boys high school basketball playoffs tips off this week with a Monday night showdown in Arlington, as the Bowie Volunteers try to knock off district rival North Crowley, the sixth-ranked Class 5A team in Texas.

All-American Marcus Smart and top-ranked Flower Mound continue defense of its Class 5A state title on Tuesday night in Grand Prairie against upset-minded Mansfield Timberview.

Meanwhile, the Class 4A regional quarterfinals feature a Tuesday night doubleheader at Ellis Davis Fieldhouse in Dallas, as West Mesquite collides with Lancaster. The nightcap is a showdown between DISD powers South Oak Cliff and Lincoln.
