The bomb threat was received for the campus in general, no specific buildings were listed.
On the school's emergency web site, a message reads: The university has received a campus-wide bomb threat. We are asking all students, faculty, and staff to evacuate campus as quickly and as safely as possible by foot. Do not use a vehicle at this time. This evacuation is effective immediately until further notice.
Bomb threats have plagued several Texas universities recently. This threat comes on the heels of a bomb threat that cleared out part of Texas State in San Marcos yesterday, and on Friday September 14, the entire UT Austin campus was evacuated for a bomb threat as well.
