Blue Bell Announces 3rd Returning Flavor

BRENHAM (CBSDFW.COM) - Blue Bell Ice Cream is coming back to select store shelves on August 31 with the company's top three fan favorite flavors. Cookies 'n Cream joins Homemade Vanilla and Dutch Chocolate on the list of varieties returning to stores later this month.
The company made the announcement Wednesday on their official Instagram page, where Cookies 'n Cream was described by Blue Bell as "a creamy vanilla ice cream with tasty chunks of chocolate creme cookies."
Blue Bell has been adding a new entry to the roster of returning flavors each day this week. The company said on Monday that Homemade Vanilla would be among the first styles returning to stores, while Dutch Chocolate was added to their flavor list on Tuesday.
According to Blue Bell, these are the company's top three fan favorite flavors. A fourth and final ice cream flavor will be added to the mix on Thursday.
Shoppers can start finding Blue Bell Ice Cream in select Texas stores once again later this month, but only in Houston, Austin and the company's hometown of Brenham. North Texas will be included in the second phase of the rollout, but there is not yet a date for when that will begin.
