Blue Bell Adds Chocolate To Returning Flavors

BRENHAM (CBSDFW.COM) - The world now knows two of the flavors that will grace store shelves once again when Blue Bell Ice Cream returns to select locations on August 31. After formally announcing on Monday that Homemade Vanilla will be among the first ice cream options for customers later this month, the company announced a second flavor on Tuesday.
And as many might have expected, that flavor will be Dutch Chocolate.
Blue Bell is making these flavor announcements on their Instagram page. They stated, "Our Dutch Chocolate is a rich, creamy chocolate ice cream made with the finest imported chocolate. All of us at Blue Bell are anxiously awaiting that first bowl of ice cream along with everyone else!"
Shoppers can start finding Blue Bell Ice Cream in select Texas stores once again later this month, but only in Houston, Austin and the company's hometown of Brenham. North Texas will be included in the second phase of the rollout, but there is not yet a date for when that will begin.
