Bledsoe: Football Is More Religion Than Sport In Texas
DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Looking back at the Cowboys loss to the Patriots 105.3 The Fan's New School turns to the one man in the NFL that can that can give an accurate reflection from both sides of the football - former QB Drew Bledsoe.
"In Dallas, football is more religion than sport and when things go well you are on a pedestal, when things go poorly you are thrown under the bus. But at the end of the game, when you've got a game on the line, you've got to be able to take take care of the football and understand the situation you are in" said Bledsoe when asked about his thoughts on the perils of Tony Romo.
Bledsoe also shared his thoughts about having Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on the sidelines and in front of the media and what it was like playing for legendary coach Bill Parcells - twice.
