Biden To Address American Legion Convention
HOUSTON (AP) - Vice President Joe Biden returns to Houston as the featured speaker at The American Legion's national convention.
Biden is to address the convention Tuesday afternoon at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. Also addressing the delegates Tuesday will be Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Bryan Battaglia, senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The convention runs through Thursday.
Biden spent much of last week in Houston as his son, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, underwent tests and an unspecified medical procedure at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
