Beware Of Traffic Closures This Weekend
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - If you plan to get out and about this weekend, check your route before you buckle up.
Construction related traffic closures are planned across North Texas through the weekend.
I-30:
Various lanes of east- and westbound I-30 from Summit Avenue to University Drive will be closed continuously from 9 p.m. Friday, May 16, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 19.
These closures are needed to relocate the westbound I-30 main lanes and to refresh striping on eastbound I-30. They also are needed for construction activities associated with the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
I-635:
Full closure of westbound I-635 between Webb Chapel Road and Josey Lane on Saturday, May 17 from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Northbound I-35E exit to Forest will be closed Monday, May 19 through Saturday, May 31.
DNT:
Closure of northbound DNT to eastbound direct-connector ramp.
Closure of northbound DNT to westbound I-635 direct-connector ramp.
Closure of eastbound I-635 to northbound DNT loop ramp.
Closure of various northbound DNT lanes from Harvest Hill Road to Galleria Drive.
All closures from Friday, May 16 at 9 p.m. until Saturday, May 17 at noon.
NORTH TARRANT EXPRESS PROJECT:
Complete closure of the Precinct Line Road / SH183 intersection, starting Friday May 16 at 9 p.m. and continuing until 6:00 a.m. Monday, May 19.
Closure of on-ramp from Murphy Drive/Westpark Way to eastbound SH 183 from Saturday, May 17 at 9 p.m. to Sunday, June 1 at 10 a.m.
Closure of off-ramp from eastbound SH 183 to Industrial Blvd. will be closed from Saturday, May 17 at 9 p.m. to Sunday, June 1 at 10 a.m.
Closure of off-ramp from westbound SH 121/183 to Brown Trail on Monday, May 19.
