Being the smartest one in the bar can often be fun, but being the smartest one in the bar with your friends and the opportunity to win prizes is even better. The topics of trivia nights are often original and fun at these bars, making it a better experience than just watching a game show alone on TV. The Flying Saucer in Addison is known for its many events. Almost every night of the week you can find something going on here. Sunday nights are Texas Pint Nights, Wednesdays are usually Brewery Nights featuring different breweries and Thursdays are often Tap Night. Tuesdays are also a featured night for trivia. It's free to join in on the Trivia Bowl and prizes are offered including gift certificate giveaways. Trivia starts at 9 p.m.

Known as Team Trivia Pub Quiz at Trinity Hall, trivia night is a family-friendly event here so people can feel free to bring multiple generations along. Teams can be made up of up to eight people. There are four rounds, each with 15 questions, and the night starts at 7:30 p.m. There's no fee to play but the place can get fairly crowded so it's best to get there early as there are no reservations available.

The Londoner is a great place to kick back and enjoy a beer with friends. It often has specialty drinks and liquors that have been infused with unique flavors in house. The food includes a delicious mix of traditional British pub food as well as some American classics. Trivia nights here are laid back and relaxed but a lot of fun if you don't take it too seriously. Trivia with Patric takes place at The Londoner every Monday starting at 9 p.m.

World of Beer hosts its Live PubGuys Trivia every Wednesday night starting at 8 p.m. It's always free to play but with its very extensive beer list (it is called World of Beer, after all), chances are you will be trying a few new beers while enjoying the trivia. It may make the questions harder but it may also make it more fun. The bar also offers a list of beer cocktails and wine. Money is up for grabs for the winners of trivia night.
