Gobble, gobble and get ready to run. The YMCA sponsored, 48th Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. Runners and walkers can enjoy an 8-mile and 5K course. If you think the 8-mile run is a little too much, then the 5K course is just right for you, starting at the Dallas City Hall (1500 Marilla St., Dallas, TX 75201). You will run through Deep Ellum then through Main Street Garden Park and then you will finish on Young Street in front of the Aloft Dallas Downtown hotel. If you are fearless, then the 8-mile run will be perfect for you! It starts at City Hall, goes past Reunion Park, across Trinity River, down Houston Street to Oak Cliff and back downtown via Jefferson Street Viaduct. You can register for $35.00.
