The Buddhist Center of Dallas is a spiritually powerful place, actively practicing Buddhism and uniting the community in practicing mindfulness at once. With a calendar teeming with activities including daily chanting, weekly lessons in the Thai language, and meditation, any day of the week is an ideal day to visit this sacred place to reflect and enjoy peace. Meditation sessions are practiced and typically led by orange-robed monks, however, the public are welcome to attend most sessions and events, as well as participate. Daily meditation starts at 6 p.m. for all those open to an internal renaissance.

Throughout the year, on Saturday mornings, from 8 to 10 a.m., the park transforms into a sanctuary of mindfulness. Called Heartfulness Meditation, there are two chapters to each session.
