About five years ago, Jeremy Turner started selling them in an old school bus converted into a mobile vintage clothing store. He noticed how hard it was to find good vintage Christmas sweaters, and many of his customers wanted the older style "tacky or ugly" sweaters. Turner decided to devote a retail outlet catered to ugly Christmas sweaters, hence the name of his store. Turner's inventory consists of over 10,000, 1980s and '90s sweaters so there is something for everyone, including infants.

Lula B's has two Dallas locations, one in Deep Ellum and the other just west of downtown. Lula B's is just a fun store. The Deep Ellum location is a two-story shop with movie and music memorabilia, but those are not the only items carried at the store. Lula B's is a treasure trove all things vintage with collectibles including bumper stickers, soda bottles toys, Elvis and magazines. The apparel section features mod fashions, eclectic, fuzzy, furry, vintage and western. Christmas sweaters will most likely be more plentiful at the Deep Ellum location, but don't rule out the Riverfront Boulevard store. The west downtown location has some of the most unique furniture one has ever seen in one place. You are most likely to find something that you thought you would never see again at Lula B's.
