Baylor University Medical Center in downtown Dallas is one of the most popular hospitals in Dallas. Staffed with excellent medical professionals and caring physicians, women seem to rave about the comfort and quality of care they receive at Baylor. Contrary to some hospitals, Baylor seems to be more accommodating for women wishing to go the undedicated route. Although this hospital would probably not be as supportive as a more naturally focused birth center, the staff seems to be pretty helpful in assisting women deliver their babies naturally. Of course, they also have all the bells and whistles for those choosing the medicated route.

Dallas, TX 75251

Medical City is the only facility in the area that offers neonatologists and pediatric anesthesiologists on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is reassuring should you need the care of a NICU for your new baby. This hospital is one the most prepared in Texas to treat high-risk pregnancies and deliveries without mothers having to worry about transferring their baby to a different location. They also have a fabulous nursing staff and really seek to make mom and baby as comfortable and healthy as possible. I am actually delivering my second baby here and am looking forward to my stay. My favorite part was the helpful lactation consultants. They are readily available and eager to help and encourage a healthy breastfeeding relationship.
