Who doesn't love Italian food with all of the cheese, the pasta, yummy sauces and great wines and beers to wash it all down? One of everyone's favorite Italian comfort foods is the traditional lasagna. While lots of Italian restaurants have one on their menu, it's difficult to find a nice Italian restaurant that also makes a great Italian dish like lasagna in the way that makes you feel like you've been transported to Italy with every bite. These aren't the chain restaurants you may be used to. These spots are serving up some of the best lasagna in DFW.

Patrizio
25 Highland Park Village
Dallas, TX 75205
(214) 522-7878
www.patrizios.netPatrizio has many locations across the DFW area. The goal of the owners was to take recipes that have been used for many generations in their family and to liven them up and adapt them to cater to modern tastes. If you're looking for lasagna, Patrizio has multiple options to choose from. The best, if you're looking for something traditional, would be the regular lasagna which is made from a family recipe. There is also a vegetable lasagna that is a healthier option and still tastes great. You might also want to try the chicken and mushroom lasagna with a smoked gouda cream sauce.
Terilli's
2815 Greenville Ave.
Dallas, TX 75206
(214) 827-3993
www.terillis.comAfter spending 15 years in the restaurant business, Jeannie Terilli got out of the restaurant business for a while. Realizing that food really was her passion, she opened Terilli's, but wanted to do something different with her restaurant. This difference came in the form of the "Italcho" or the Italian nacho. While it may seem a little strange, people seem to love them. The restaurant also serves great traditional Italian meals. For lasagne, you have a meat and a vegetable option and both are delicious.
