The Secchi family, formerly of Sardinia, Italy, opened Ferrari's in 1983. The warm Focaccia Bread starts your meal with an Italian flavor. Conversely, you can end your meal with a show if you order the Bananas Francesco for dessert. (Expect for everyone in the restaurant to want a taste when see the display and smell the dish.) The Cannelloni Alla Fiorentina and Gnocchi Della Mama are both quite tasty.

Scalini's has been a Lakewood staple for decades and has opened a location in Richardson. The pizza has thin crust and the freshest of toppings. If you want traditional staples get the Scalini Combo Plate, with lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, and ravioli.
