Best Images From The NCAA Tournament
From upsets to acrobatics, the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament has already created a number of memorable moments.
Here are some of the most memorable moments captured.
Baylor Shocked
No. 3 Baylor led by 12 with 2:53 left in the game. The lead dwindled, until R.J. Hunter hit the game-winning shot with under 3 seconds remaining.
Ron Hunter, the coach and R.J.'s father, was overcome with emotion and celebrated at mid court -- with his scooter in tow.
Memorable Dunks
The athleticism in college basketball is often overlooked, but not in these instances -- particularly when it comes to the nation's top team.
Kentucky freshman forward Trey Lyles scored the Wildcats' first bucket of the tournament -- and in emphatic fashion (though it looks like an offensive foul).
Teammate Willie Cauley-Stein then posterized Quadri Moore in the Wildcats' second game against Cincinnati.
SMU Disbelief
Yanick Moreira was called for a controversial goaltending in the Mustangs' first NCAA game since 1993. He took accountability for the play, but SMU fans everywhere can empathize with the senior.
Just Because
And some images don't need an explanation. They are simply awesome...
