The holiday season is here at last. Most still have much shopping to do, not only for gifts and idyllic family meals, but also for the special touches that bring the sparkle to the eye. The Texas Christkindl Market is not a quick shopping trip, spanning an entire parking lot of Globe Life Park, the market overflows with holiday spirit, vendors, cheer and artisan craftsmanship. Part of the Enchant! celebration, shoppers will need to pay admission, however, if there were ever a winter event to be worth the price, this would be it. Starting November 24 through December 31, Enchant welcomes friends and family to enjoy warm winter beverages, visits with Santa himself, and endless lanes of holiday treats and gifts. Between purchases, take a spin around the ice skating rink, or get lost in the light maze. There will also be food and live entertainment. For eight years running, The Funky Finds Holiday Show has brought the artists and crafty together with cooks and writers to share their holiday cheer and gifts for those on your loving list. Even better, there is no charge to attend the event. On November 18 and 19, the Will Rogers Memorial center in Fort Worth, rows and rows of products of imagination, heart and soul will be on sale to shorten your gift list and also contribute to the greater good. The event also encourages adopting a pet, donating toys and participating in a raffle that sends contributions to the Humane Society of North Texas.

Held at the Sons of Hermann Hall in the heart of Dallas, this holiday market has flair. Lining the passages, will be artists from a gallery of life, showcasing their paintings, instruments, pottery, jewelry, glasswork and sculptures. Dancing through the aisles, shoppers will enjoy music they can move to as they peruse, and once they've built up a healthy appetite, they can follow the smells of warm food as well. Plan on spending a day here enjoying the festive, artistic atmosphere and the great deals on personally crafted work. The Randy Brodnax and Friends Christmas show will be held Dec.1 through Dec. 3, on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Valet parking will be available Friday as well.
