Best Gay Bars In DFW

DFW is already known as one of the best places to find a variety of bars. What some people may not know is that there are also many bars that cater to gay and lesbian patrons. With offerings varying from country bars to karaoke nights, there is something for everyone. Many offer great drink specials which allow you to have a great night out without having a great big check at the end of the night.

While it may not be the fanciest bar or the largest, this gay bar is a great place to get a couple of drinks and meet some new friends. Located in the heart of the Fort Worth area, this is in a prime location to have a good night. The Rainbow Lounge has a great patio for nights with nicer weather and it features some of the best DJs in town. Great drag shows are also a feature that this club offers.

Since opening in 1989, Sue Ellen's has moved into a newer location where it has been since 2008. This lesbian bar offers two floors of fun. The bar features fiber-optic lighting and high-definition video screens. Enjoy live music and DJs playing the greatest dance hits in both the lipstick lounge and the vixen lounge. Live music is featured daily and it's a great place to enjoy cheap drinks while dancing the night away.

The Round-Up Saloon has been open since 1980 and has become known for being a great hangout for some of the best looking dancers and cowboys in the DFW area. The club features six different bars with various themes. The Parlor is the Round-Up's daytime bar and is an old, red Victorian-style bar with brass features. The ToolShed Bar features two new and improved bar stations under a tin roof and plenty of antique tools. This bar connects to the patio bar or Chute 5. The Lonestar bar is the newest addition to the Round-Up and features stone arches and slate counter tops. The HorseShoe Bar is a great place to go to get your drink quickly and features three server stations. Last but not least, The Tequila Shack features 40 premium tequilas. If you aren't a two-stepping professional, dance lessons are also provided to give you a quick guide before you show off your moves for everyone.

If you're looking for a good time with lots of people to dance with, Station 4, or S4 as it is more commonly known, is probably your best bet. This club features 24,000 square feet of good times and 15 service wells. One of the more popular features of this club is the legendary Rose Room Theatre and Lounge as this is where you will find the wildly entertaining drag show. Specials are available Thursday through Sunday so you don't have to spend a lot to have a lot of fun at S4. While this is a gay bar, many straight women celebrate their bachelorette parties here with friends.

Best Friends Club is Fort Worth's premiere gay and lesbian nightclub. It has a little bit of a country feel while also appealing to other club-goers. This spot offers karaoke on Wednesdays and has special events quite often based on various holidays and seasonal events. Attend during happy hour for great deals on drinks. In addition to great drinks and fun times, Best Friends Club also runs various charity events throughout the year to help give back to the community.
