Best Fortune Tellers In DFW

An image of a neon sign of a palm in the window of a shop comes to mind for some people when you say the word fortune teller. But real fortune tellers are divination artists who use their natural abilities along with extensive training to gather insight on a situation to assist someone in a situation or find a solution to a problem. To find a world-renowned divination artist or instructor, one doesn't have to look far. Here is a list of some of the best divination artists in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Valentina Burton
Divination Instructor and Author
(214) 770-2788

Ms. Burton has been a divination practitioner for 30 years. Astrology, tarot card reading and palmistry are the main arts that she focuses on. She uses natal astrology to look at patterns in a person's life before she meets with them for a tarot card reading. She said that helps her look at the issues before she turns over a card. Palmistry is more of a character reading, similar to astrology, by showing how a person is wired. Palmistry shows how you filter the options that are presented in your life and how you interpret the events in your life.

David Alexandre
Tarot Card Reader and Palmist
(214) 527-8910

Mr. Alexandre has been involved in the divination arts for the past 40 years. Tarot and palmistry are his areas of expertise. "I like helping people focus on their issues so that they deal with life's problems head on," said Alexandre. He believes that most people do two things that sabotage themselves: they are either too hard on themselves or they blame other people. "A good reader should see those patterns in a reading," said Alexandre. He assists his clients in getting clarity regarding their patterns so they can decide their next course of action. "By using divination, I can help reveal the outcome to any given situation," said Alexandre.

Taylor Ellis
Artist and Tarot Card Reader
(972) 567-0725
www.ellistrations.net

Taylor Ellis worked as a freelance graphic designer. Through some unfortunate life changes, he found himself living in the basement of a church. Through the property owner, he learned about life transitions and how to read tarot cards. He started doing readings at a bar that he was working at just for practice. While doing readings along with his background in graphic design, the Ellis Tarot Deck was born. The colorful 78-card deck has sold out and is now in its second printing. Ellis does readings using his deck and adds the Asian divination art of the I-Ching at the end of the reading. "Tarot is the map and I-Ching is the compass," said Ellis in relation to helping his clients stay focused on their path.

Gina Thies
Clairvoyant and Tarot Card Reader
(972) 360-8276
www.tarotadvisor.com

Ms. Thies is a world traveler and has done readings for clients in New York, Spain, Crete and Italy. She does Internet, phone and in-person readings for clients in England, Pakistan and Qatar. "I think it is very important that people have a path," said Thies. "People want to know that at the end of the day, everything is going to be okay. Sometimes it isn't going to be okay. This is about how you can have some control because the only thing you can control is yourself. It is about creating boundaries," said Thies about the intent of her empowerment readings. As a clairvoyant, she gives insight on past, present and future events. She is currently working on a book "Tarot Coupling" due out in November (Schiffer Publishing) on how to do relationship readings.

Major Tom Schick
Tarot Card Instructor and Reader
(214) 937-1544
www.majortom.biz

A former executive officer of the U.S. Air Force, Major Tom considers himself to be a tarot card reading expert and prefers to teach others to read cards than to give readings. As a 25-year resident of England, he has given lectures at the British Museum on historical tarot decks. He has been a guest speaker at conferences in Melbourne, London, San Francisco, New York and Dallas and has published a Tarot Lovers calendar now in its 12th year of publication. "I think the whole reason for getting a tarot reading is to find out what you need to know in order to get what you want," said Major Tom. "That is not always easy because what you need to know is not necessarily what you want to know."
