Black Veil Brides is known for its performance as well as makeup, body paint and outfits that are very reminiscent of Kiss as well as other glam rock bands of the 1980s. The band includes Andy Biersack (lead vocals), Jinxx (rhythm guitar, violin), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Ashley Purdy (bass) and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). Black Veil Brides has stated that its newest album will be more punk-rock inspired than any other album it's done before making it a fusion of metal and punk rock. An English alternative rock band from Battle, East Sussex, Keane hit the mainstream in 2004 with the release of its album, "Hopes and Fears." The album won many awards and was the second best-selling British album that year. Sometimes Keane is known as "the band with no guitar" because the band uses more piano in its music than guitar sounds. The band sites Radiohead and Oasis as musical influences. This concert will be a great option for the alternative rock crowd and those looking for music with lyrical influences and smoother, piano-based tunes.

For those that enjoy the pop music sounds but with a more electronic/dance fee, Owl City will perform at the American Airlines Center. Owl City is an electronica project by Adam Young. Young is a multi-instrumentalist, so while listening to the music of Owl City, the performance that may sound like an entire band is really the work of one person. Young began the project in his parents' basement and was able to achieve mainstream success after the release of two albums in 2009. Owl City's newest album, "The Midsummer Station," was released in August.
