You'll find that all of the locations offer a little something different and prices vary as well. The Park South branch, in particular, is the best of the rest as far as fees go. An adult one-time initiation fee costs $30 with a monthly cost of only $37. The city's four recreation centers, that houses fitness facilities, offer classes ranging from aerobics and belly dancing to boot camp and Tai Chi. The city of Fort Worth has 22 community centers offering an assortment of programs for all ages. The shining star of them all is the new Chisholm Trail Community Center, a 19,995 sq.-ft. facility, set to launch this month. The center will feature a rock climbing wall, a full sized gym, a state-of-the-art fitness room and an aerobics studio. Resident adults can buy an all access membership for only $20 a year or $40 for non-residents. Between all of the various centers, you'll find an assortment of classes ranging from body pump aerobics and totally toned to Pilates and boxing fitness. The fitness floor alone measures 22,000 sq.-ft., the largest in the region — and houses a state-of-the-art fitness area, two gyms and two huge aerobics studios. The center offers over 60 classes a week, including fit cycling, turbo kick boxing, hip hop hustle, step, yoga and Pilates. Additionally, the aquatics center offers seven different water aerobics classes.
