Best July 4th Parties In DFW

This 4th of July, celebrate the right way in DFW with lots of fireworks, great food and celebrations that the entire family can enjoy. In the Metroplex, there will be celebrations going on all over featuring some of the best bands and the largest fireworks displays in Texas. There are many activities to enjoy this 4th of July before gazing up at the displays of fireworks in the sky to celebrate this patriotic holiday.

The celebrations will be starting off in Allen this year with its USA Celebration. One of the city's popular bands, Emerald City Band, will be providing live music for party-goers to enjoy. This event has become one of the largest 4th of July parties in the DFW area with over 85,000 guests in attendance in 2011. There will be additional live music provided by Radio Disney. This is a family-friendly event and is absolutely free. The party starts at 4 p.m. and fireworks will be shown at 10 p.m.

Kaboom Town! is one of the most popular and biggest celebrations in DFW and this year it will be celebrating its 28th anniversary. The festival will start at 5 p.m. and will include food, music and children's activities that include inflatables, sand art, a free movie and more. Live music will be provided on the Dos Equis Main Stage during the after-party. This event is free and boasts one of the best and largest fireworks displays in DFW.

This 4th of July celebration will be featuring a birthday theme this year because it will also be celebrating 60 years of service. There will of course be a giant cake to celebrate. The event will also feature free live music, a birthday-themed car show, festival food favorites and a lot of family-friendly events. The event is free but you may have to pay for parking.

With what promises to be Dallas' largest fireworks display, Fair Park Fourth is sure to please. The museums at Fair Park will be offering free or reduced pricing on their admission. Museums include the African American Mueseum, Texas Discovery Gardens and many others. This is a great opportunity to have fun but also to learn new things. There will also be live music and a children's area. Watch the booming fireworks display from inside the historic Cotton Bowl stadium and enjoy a live performance by the Dallas Wind Symphony at 8 p.m.

Now celebrating its 40th year of music, Willie Nelson's picnic is an event that is a little different than other 4th of July celebrations. Willie's Picnic includes a lineup of some of the best country music stars around. The event will feature artists like Willie Nelson and Gary Allan as well as many, many more. The event will also feature approximately 20 different food trucks for your eating pleasure. A VIP tent will also be available.
