Bedford Woman Murdered, Police Concerned About Missing Roommate
BEDFORD (CBSDFW.COM) - The Bedford Police Department is asking for the public's help in the case of a murdered woman and the disappearance of her roommate.
Tracy Anderson, 27, was found stabbed to death around 1:40 p.m. Sunday in her apartment in the 2500 block of Central Park Blvd.
Friends of Anderson's say she was pregnant.
Anderson's roommate, 26-year-old Robert Atlas, was no where to be found, according to police.
The apartment appeared to have been broken into by force. Police were called out to the apartment for a welfare check after Anderson's mother said he hadn't heard from her daughter since Friday.
BPD says it's concerned for the safety and welfare of Atlas. The two had only been living in the apartment for three weeks.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 817.952.2127.
