Beasley Competing For Permanent Cowboys Spot
OXNARD, CA (105.3 THE FAN) - Following his exciting performance at Cowboys OTA's in June - the coaches, his team members and everyone keeping an eye on Cole Beasley were shocked when he suddenly walked away from training camp in Oxnard.
"I've got a lot of personal stuff going on right now," Beasley said in an exclusive interview with 105.3 The Fan.
"(After Beasley delivered the news) we sat down, and we just had a little visit," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "We do get a roster exemption for him, and we'll continue to evaluate the situation. You guys have heard me say before: We have resources in our organization. We try to help our players."
After a few days away, Beasley has returned to camp and he's ready to play. He spoke with 105.3 The Fan's Elf & Slater show following the afternoon practice on Tuesday.
