Beach Street Exit On I-35W North In Fort Worth Closed Until February

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — Drivers on I-35W north in Fort Worth will not be able to use the exit to Beach Street until February; it'll be closed as part of the North Tarrant Express/I-35W project.
The off-ramp closes Sunday, Jan. 17 and will not reopen until around Sunday, Feb. 14. Traffic will be redirected to the Meacham Boulevard exit.
The $1.4 billion North Tarrant Express/I-35W project includes reconstruction of main lanes and addition of TEXpress lanes to try to ease congestion. The project includes 6.5 miles of I-35W north of I-30 to north of I-820. The project is slated for completion in 2018.
