Bank Robber Faces Charges In Texas And Mississippi

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - A 45-year-old man who served time for robbing three banks in 2008 is now accused in recent bank heists in Mississippi and Texas.
The Sun Herald reports Robert Scott Antrim is held with no bond.
Antrim is accused in the July 25 robbery of a Hancock Bank in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and a Northstar Bank in Hurst, Texas on July 27. He was arrested in Fort Worth.
The bank robberies seven years ago were among five bank heists in South Mississippi within 42 hours.
Antrim had been on probation since May 2014.
A federal grand jury in Fort Worth has indicted Antrim on a bank robbery charge. He is set for trial Oct. 19.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Gulfport charged him with the Pascagoula bank robbery on Monday.
