Babe Blog: Haney Wrong To Profit Off Tiger Woods

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – It's kind of sad to see that famed golf instructor Hank Haney has written a book on his years with Tiger Woods. Should anyone really profit from a working relationship with your employer?

I don't get it.

Tiger made Haney wealthier than he was before Tiger met him. There's no question he was known as one the game's better teachers, but trust me, he was not doing a television show with Charles Barkley if he was not Tiger's swing coach.

I was Troy Aikman's roommate for a couple of years before games, both on the road and for home games. Should I write a book about that? Violate a confidence?

And I just hate it when someone's life becomes a reality show.

I understand that we now live in a voyeuristic society, whether I like it or not.  Did Hank Haney tell Tiger at the outset, " And just so you know, I will be writing a book about our relationship when our working arrangement ends."

If you both agree to it –– like Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom –– have at it.  But to profit from a relationship you already turned a healthy profit on, just doesn't make sense.
