Authorities Seeking Vehicle In Fatal Hit And Run
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Authorities with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department are seeking the public's help in identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run accident in Dallas.
On June 28, a pedestrian, identified as Andre Cherry, was struck on the northbound I-35E service road just north of Inwood.
Cherry had walked across the service road with other occupants from their disabled vehicle. Cherry was attempting to cross back to the car when she was struck by what is described as a 2006-2009 Silver Chevrolet Trailblazer SS.
The suspect vehicle never stopped and continued northbound on the service road.
Authorities say the vehicle will have extensive front end damage, as the front grill of the vehicle became detached and was recovered at the scene.
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Dallas County Sheriff's Department Vehicle Crimes Unit at (214) 589-2335.
