Arrest Made In Fatal Hit and Run of Marine in North Texas
An arrest has been made in a deadly hit-and-run in Irving that happened in May. Police have made an arrest in the death of 23-year-old Evan Sanchey of Washington. He had just returned from duty in Afghanistan, and was at DFW Airport awaiting a connecting flight home when he crossed the freeway, and was struck by a car -- killing him. The driver left the scene, and police been searching for him even since. Police say they were able to find the vehicle involved, and tracked that to its owner. 44-year-old Richard Dean of Hurst has been arrested -- he turned himself into the Irving city.
