Remember when the worst thing that could happen to you while playing video games is Pacman would catch you...oh my how things have changed! This weekend id Software presents a gamers paradise called QuakeCon at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
"QuakeCon is our annual event where we connect with our fans. We are showing our new game Doom" said Tim Willits, Creative Director of id Software.
QuakeCon is a huge free convention for gamers, and it's BYOC for bring your own computer "we have about 2000 people that hook up their own computer and play in the LAN" Tim added.
QuakeCon 2015 runs through Sunday at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. JD Ryan is Around Town with your backstage pass!
