Arlington Police Make Arrest In 2011 Murder Case

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) –Nearly two years after the deadly shooting of an Arlington man, police have made an arrest in the case.

Jamie Ramos, 30, was found dead inside the home he shared with his girlfriend on January 5, 2011, in the 1500 block of Biggs Circle.

Police say Anthony "Toro" Levandoski, 28, fired the fatal shot and is now in Arlington City Jail facing a murder charge. According to police, three days before the murder, Ramos and his girlfriend were involved in a fight in which he fired a gun. Police say Ramos may have told and ex-boyfriend about the fight, and Levandoski, who is a friend of that ex-boyfriend, may have shot Ramos in retaliation.

The Arlington Police Department Fugitive Unit and SWAT Officers arrested Levandoski in Grand Prairie on October 25. He is currently in jail with bail set at $1 million. Police say more arrests or charges are possible in connection with this case.
