Dismembered Remains Of Multiple People Found In Arlington
UPDATE 2: Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson announced on Twitter Thursday the Arlington Police Fugitive Team has arrested Hector "El Cholo" Acosta-Ojeda in connection with a double murder in Fort Worth.
Police said Acosta-Ojeda was arrested without incident after police received a tip regarding his whereabouts.
UPDATE: On Wednesday the Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed the remains found in the backyard of a home on Burton Drive were that of Iris Chirinos, 17.
The report did not list a cause of death.
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Arlington Police are investigating multiple deaths after the discovery of human remains.
Someone reported finding human remains in a wooded area near a creek.
During the execution of a search warrant, additional human remains believed to belong to a second person were also found by investigators.
It's in the backyard of the home at 202 Burton Drive where the bodies of a male and female have been found buried.
But about quarter-mile from there, someone found a severed head that belongs to one of the bodies.
A note written in Spanish was found next to the head and made a reference to being disloyal to a group.
Detectives have charged Mariano Sanchez with murder.
Sanchez is also being held on a home burglary warrant out of Tarrant County and a drug possession charge out of Arlington.
Detectives have also identified a second suspect related to this case.
An arrest warrant for murder has been issued for Hector Acosta-Ojeda, 28, approximately 5'08" and 190 pounds. Acosta-Ojeda is considered armed and extremely dangerous, police said.
Police have seized a cell phone that may have recorded the murders.
One of the suspects, Sanchez, came forward to police and said he was forced to take part in the murders. But police believe he was involved.

Investigators said they believe that the victims were specifically targeted in this crime and this was not a random incident.
Homicide detectives have not ruled out the possibility that the killings may be drug-related and said both the victims and the suspects were involved in illegal drug trafficking among other crimes.
Crime scene personnel are still processing the Burton Drive address and may be there for several days.
The department is working with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office on the recovery of the deceased.
