Arlington Police Find Missing 9-Year-Old Boy

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - After continuing search efforts Saturday afternoon, Arlington police were able to locate missing 9-year-old Trey Ossenkop safely at Bowie High School.
The missing boy was located at a Bowie High School football game after police said he was joining friends who were at the game.
Police said a security guard was able to grab him on the football field.
Earlier on Saturday, police said the 9-year-old was spotted at approximately 3:15 p.m. by a volunteer at Collins and Endicott. Police said when the volunteer called his name, he ran away.
According to police, there were around 100 volunteers and police who searched for Trey Ossenkop.
Police said the 9-year-old ran away from home after his mother said he stayed home from school Friday due to behavior issues. She said she didn't realize he left the house.
"Just got to figure out on a mental health standpoint, what makes a nine-year-old not want to go home or not want to go to school," said Arlington police Lt. Chris Cook, "That's what's concerning us."
The boy was last seen Friday afternoon near Williams Elementary, and police said he used to go to school there but had transferred.
Police said Trey spent Friday night at a friend's house.
