ARLINGTON (CBSDFW) - Arlington police are looking for a suspect in a random attack on a woman.

According to reports, Police say a woman was attacked early on March 28, 2016 by a man who got into her apartment on Park Row Drive west of Hwy 360 in east Arlington.

Sgt. Vannessa Harrison says the woman couldn't see the man's face at first because he covered it with a scarf, but as they struggled that scarf came off.

Harrison says this appears to be a random attack and nothing suggests the man and woman knew each other.

The woman needed treatment for her injuries, but they aren't considered serious.

Harrison says the man was seen leaving in an older gray car. The victim described suspect as black man, around 6 feet tall with slight facial hair and a scar visible on his forehead.

If you have any information, please contact Detective Becky Szatkowski at 817-459-5580. Tipsters can also remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
