Arlington Neighbors React To Discovery Of Marijuana Grow House

ARLINGTON (CBS11) - Residents in a quiet Arlington neighborhood are stunned to hear that police have uncovered a massive, underground pot crop that was buried in a backyard.
Investigators descended upon the home along the 5800 block of Magnum Drive and arrested two people for "cargo theft."
Both Tri Vo, 31, and Jlicia Perry, 26, allegedly lived inside the home and could face additional charges.
"It's amazing to see all the stuff even being in the house. There's just so many boxes. I never knew," said Titus Stevenson, who lives across the street.
Aerial video from Chopper 11 shows the scene in the backyard. Police said they uncovered about 100 marijuana plants from a pit dug 9 feet under a wooden deck. The measured 14 feet by 8 feet and was only accessible by a ladder.
"I'll give it to them. It's pretty smart. This particular suburb, neighborhood is quiet. You pick somewhere quiet, you move quiet," said Stevenson.
Neighbors said the suspects were quiet, kept to themselves and usually only moved at night.
"I was scared. I was like for real? People have been doing this in this neighborhood? I was shocked," said Shade Ahmordu, a neighbor.
Ahmordu said she was more concerned about the many kids who live and play in the neighborhood.
UPDATE Wednesday, January 20: Mug shots released of suspects Tri Vo, 30 and JLicia Perry, 25.
